Trina Tan Trial Hair and Makeup

The lovely Trina! I love the shape of her brows and how her cheekbones didn't need much contouring for it to pop, and how her nose didn't need to be put a nose line either! She opted for airbrush makeup for her wedding.

Pardon the lighting which made Trina's skin look orange-y. I had to use my mirror lights for the photograph because we had her session on the day of the storm so no natural light! Haha!

Hazel Sabong Hair and Makeup Trial

My lovely bride Atty. Hazel Sabong's trial hair and makeup session.

This is airbrush makeup. She was going to have her prenup photoshoot in Intramuros, and she was having a victorian theme for the shoot. So having a no-makeup makeup look or something really really fresh was the way to go.

I really love her eyes, it's so easy to play up. And her high cheekbones! I didn't have to contour because Hazel has such lovely bone structure already. I just high lighted her apple-cheeks with a lovely pale pink shade to make her cheeks pop!

Meanwhile... 2 months later, Hazel sent me this picture from her prenup pictorial... She was still fresh, after hours wearing the makeup:

My Latest Addiction!

So, Lancome finally sent me the latest collection for Fall 2009. I just fell in love with the ink artliner pot! I have tried different eyeliner pots, and I must say, Lancome has done it! The consistency is perfect, and you don't need a whole lot! I love how it makes such a bold line, and that you absolutely don't need a steady hand to apply it!

Go to our Lancome boutique in Greenbelt 5 and try it out yourself!

The Ortoll Sisters

I did the makeup of the Ortoll sisters today for a wedding. One of them was my bride, and her sister Bea and I go way back. So I was quite comfortable doing their makeup as well...

I have done Bea's makeup several times and this was the second for Maite. Before going to the hotel, I could already picture the look I was going to do, but this was the first time I was going to meet their sister Marilen.

They all opted for airbrush makeup and wanted something really classic and neutral, but very elegant and classy!

The lighting at the hotel room wasn't so nice. I had to rely on available light too so I had no choice... It was so gloomy outside so no sunshine to light up the room! In spite of the many shadows on their faces, you'll still see how lovely the three of them looked!

Makeup for Love

My sister Love was a muse of Hindy Tantoco's Culte Femme Event. She was wearing a beautiful white dress so I wanted to keep her makeup fresh as well, even though the event was an evening affair.

I knew that everyone will be wearing black or something dark, and will have dark makeup as well... So, I wanted her to stand out and that she did!
