Kathleen Tan Trial Hair and Makeup

When I met Kathleen, I found that her skin was absolutely gorgeous. I love the fact that she wanted to look like she had makeup on and not just like she was the one who put it on herself. I also love that she wanted a bit drama on her eyes. So, that we did :)

After I airbrushed her base, I wanted to give her face a little bit of warmth because she was so fair, but I found that the foundation I used was still a little bit too warm for her tone. Although, I think that she had more color, but we could have gone a little bit lighter so that she won't be too white in photos. I just love her skin.

I though a bit of bronzer on her cheeks should give her the contouring she needs and also a little bit of warmth as well. Of course, come her wedding day, we can always go a little bit lighter just the way Kathleen would want. That's why it is always important to have a trial session so we can always adjust to what each bride wants :)

Vanessa De Leon

Vanessa and I have booked this appointment of ours for months. So, today finally came and we met for the fist time. I love her eyes! It's so easy to play up her eyes because the shape is different. Her skin is clear so I convinced her to go with the airbrush makeup. Just a thin layer of airbrush foundation, thin enough for her skin to shine through, but thick enough to cover any discolorations.

Alee Benson did a good job with Vanessa's hair as well. He created an "effortless" look to complement her fresh makeup look.

Trina Tan Trial Hair and Makeup

The lovely Trina! I love the shape of her brows and how her cheekbones didn't need much contouring for it to pop, and how her nose didn't need to be put a nose line either! She opted for airbrush makeup for her wedding.

Pardon the lighting which made Trina's skin look orange-y. I had to use my mirror lights for the photograph because we had her session on the day of the storm so no natural light! Haha!

Leellian Lau Trial Hair and Makeup

Leellian is having her wedding in Manila in January next year. She is from Singapore so she was here only for a short time to fix her January wedding.

The first time I met Leellian (which was only a few days ago), the first thing I noticed was her lovely skin. I knew that a sheer layer of airbrush makeup would look best. She didn't need a whole lot because her skin was youthful.

She had nicely shaped dainty arcs that framed her face well. I emphasized on the blush and the lashes for her bridal look.

Leellian's real charm is her smile. She really brought the makeup to life and she already looked glowing even though she wasn't wearing her gown yet!

Tony wasn't able to do the actual bridal hair because she had products on her hair, and the curls couldn't last. But we were able to take a few pictures before we let her hair loose.

This is Leellian's bridal look:

Marilyn Tang Trial Hair and Makeup

I love how Marilyn's freckles made her look so youthful that's why I didn't pile on the makeup to cover them. Even though I used airbrush, I sprayed a thin layer of the base to leave out a couple of freckles to show through the makeup so that she will look fresh, freckles give everyone a timeless look :)

I gave her thin, long false eyelashes to add to her natural long lashes. They just lacked curl and a bit more volume so just a thin strip of falsies should do the trick.

I avoided applying bronzers and orange-toned blushes because I want her fair skin to shine, I didn't want her to look tan for her January wedding :)

Bea showed her 2 hairstyles during the trial:

An up-do for the church, and a half done-do for the reception.
