Vanessa De Leon

Vanessa and I have booked this appointment of ours for months. So, today finally came and we met for the fist time. I love her eyes! It's so easy to play up her eyes because the shape is different. Her skin is clear so I convinced her to go with the airbrush makeup. Just a thin layer of airbrush foundation, thin enough for her skin to shine through, but thick enough to cover any discolorations.

Alee Benson did a good job with Vanessa's hair as well. He created an "effortless" look to complement her fresh makeup look.

Lifestyle Asia Cover July 2009

The cover of Lifestyle Asia for July 2009 is Mercy Tuason. Her old photograph is actually the cover so I did the cover story. We recreated the pictures taken of her from before. Check them out! These are just scans so sorry for them being blurry.

Summer Lancome Look for Luli Arroyo Bernas

Was browsing this month's Town & Country when I came across the work I did a couple of months ago. I did the makeup for Luli Arroyo-Bernas' makeup for the feature.

Sorry about the scans, it's kinda blurry.

To get Luli's fresh, summer look, try Lancome's Ombre Absolue Duo's lovely summer shades. Shades like "Love for Sale", "Rue Madmoiselle", "Paris Croisette", "Round Midnight", and "In the Mood for St. Germain" (all photographed below).

On Luli though, I used "Rue Madmoiselle" which really complemented her beautiful morena skin. Although she had dark skin, she had a cool skin tone.

For her cheeks, I used "Blush Subtil Precious Edition in Sweetness"
I got a product shot in the internet because mine is already so used up! I just wanted to see how lovely the shade is!

For Luli's lips, I patted Lancome's Color Fever Gloss in Precious Beige with my ring finger so that the gloss is toned down.
