Lip Gloss Madness!

Ok, I went a little crazy yesterday. I popped by Landmark's Cosmetic Sale (again) and see if they had any further mark-downs on cosmetics. I just learned that Revlon had an additional promo of their own, buy-one-take-one free of the Colorburst Lipglosses. Ooops, bad idea. I just hoarded.

They had 2 promos but let me first tell you about the first one.

Buy-one-take-one free promo for the Colorburt Lipgloss (P575 or P287.50each). I got one red (Fire) and a more natural color (Crystal Lilac) for any color tone of lipstick I feel like using during the day. With regards to swatches, I don't have them since it's more or less the same as any other lipgloss. Fire is pretty pigmented so you can use it alone (it's actually comparable to Maybelline's Fruity Jelly in Treat Me Sweet) but just a little bit more pigmented, and less shimmer.

The second promo that they had was buy their new ColorStay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick, and you get a ColorStay Nail Polish for just P100. Ok, the beauty associate got me at P100.
So, instead of paying P325 for the nail polish, you get it at P100 when you get the new ColorStay Ultimate for P843. It was like a bundle kind of deal. So you get both for P943.

I love this nail polish. It's a deep red color (it's not this bright in person. It's actually a deep cherry red.

It's very versatile. You can wear it during the day or at night. I just love it. There are a lot of colors to choose from at the Revlon counter, so why red?

Red is the most classic. Don't go for fashion colors. You'll just put that promo to waste so get a classic color that you know you'll get to use over and over again!

So anyway, after that ridiculous damage to my wallet, I walked over to Rustan's. Of course, it was a mistake to pass by the cosmetics area going down to the parking lot because I passed by the Lancome counter, and saw the lipgloss that Agoo Bengzon (Preview Mag's Beauty Director) was wearing at the Bobbi Brown book launch when we saw each other. Of course, I had to buy it too. Damn.

Lancome's L'Absolu Creme de Mat (P1,395)

Will compare it with Revlon's ColorStay Ultimate in a separate post since I'm already late for a shoot! LOL. I really just had to share this with you so you can get itchy palms for the Revlon promo too, and head over to Landmark or SM today, or maybe drop by Rustan's for Lancome! Hahaha! I have to drag you down with me!

Enjoy Ladies!

MISSHA IS NOW IN TOWN

Finally! Missha opens in Makati!

I dropped by Landmark yesterday afternoon before heading home to change for the Mega to Mega event, promising myself that I will just buy a new plum lipstick that would match my outfit.

I love seeing Landmark's "Cosmetics Fair" Banner! I got extra excited when I learned of their sale. I haven't been to Landmark in a while! (Hi MMDA guy! Thanks for helping me cross the street!)

As soon as I entered, there she was... Waiting for me:

I was torn between having to sacrifice an hour of nap time before getting ready for the big event knowing that it would carry on til late because there was another MEGA event in Prive. So, just going to L'Oreal to buy my lipstick or important rest and nap time to prevent me from passing out from exhaustion from a whole day of meetings Hmmm...

I chose the latter.

I took my time browsing through their kiosk (stall? stand?) trying on lipstick after lipstick, asking questions and sampling blushes. I was in makeup heaven. I have heard so much about their makeup line, but believe it or not, 8 years of being a makeup artist, I've never tried this brand before (I know right?)... probably because it was not accessible for me. But now that they HAVE come to Makati, me and my bank account is in big trouble!

An hour later, I ended up not buying anything because I had no idea which ones I wanted to buy. Just about 2-3 visits more, I'll know what I want. LOL!

Head out to Landmark now to enjoy and visit MISSHA and the big cosmetics fair until end of October!

THANK YOU MISSHA FOR FINALLY COMING TO MAKATI!
