*Apply Navajo eyeshadow on your entire lid from lashline to brow bone. Then apply the Cement eyeshadow from lashline to the crease. Blend the edges with a clean brush to remove any harsh lines. Curl your lashes and apply 2 coats of Extreme Party Mascara.
NIGHT LOOK:

Upper and lower lashlines: Caviar
*Apply Caviar eyeshadow on your lash lines blending very well on the edges to create a smoky effect. Apply more mascara!
ELF Flawless Eyeshadow Quads
I am one of those beauty junkies who have to get their hands on something as soon as a new item hits the shelves.
I was walking passed the ELF makeup counter at SM, promising myself that I was there only to buy nail polish remover. But I came across their Flawless Eyeshadow quads. Since they didn't have testers, I HAD to get one to try. Since most of my palettes are mostly nudes, browns, and golds. I decided to try a little bit bold to review about and do a how-to video on.The packaging I would say is very attractive. I love that the eyeshadow colors are bold and it rather looked highly pigmented. So, I got the Sea Escape quad which consists of blues and silvers.
I did a how-to video on this quad and I must say. I was very disappointed with the texture of the eyeshadow. It was very chalky, and pigment was very low. You could have finished the entire pan of eyeshadow and still, you wouldn't have achieved the color you are aiming for.
The product falls off or "disappears" after a while and you will have to keep retouching if you were to get this product.
Maybe I just got the wrong color. I will try a different color tomorrow and see if there will be a difference! So verdict says? 2/5.

From Day to Night...
After work, freshen up your makeup by spraying your face lightly with cool water from an atomizer. Let dry and blot excess with a tissue. Then press blotting paper on your face to blot oil (there are a lot of brands out there, so take your pick), dab and don’t rub or wipe. You will just be wiping off makeup forcing you to reapply your entire makeup.
Blend a dark gray or black eyeshadow to the outer corner of your eyes using a blending brush working your way towards the center. Blend the center of your eyeshadow with your ring finger until they are very well blended together.
Sweep a little dark bronzer on your cheekbones to add color to your cheeks.
Apply your favorite night lip color. I love Colour Collection’s Mineral Cosmetics in Smooth Wine (photographed above P199), it’s just like MAC’s Viva Glam I lipstick except it’s creamy and not very matte, not to mention, it’s 1/5 of the price! Matte lipsticks can be drying specially I your lips chap a lot. Colour Collection Lipsticks are my current fave!
Pat blotting powder on your nose like Elianto’s Blotting Powder to mattify your face to finish.

Getting bored with your everyday makeup look? Explore and experiment with colored liners!
Colored liners are a fun way to brighten up your look! If you feel that black liners make you look “too dressy”, skip the blacks and browns and use colored ones.
My latest discovery, Nichido’s Color Intense Eyepencil in Deep Plum (which I used today when i went to do a shoot and on the photo) and Vivid Turquoise (P80.00).
Colored eyeliners (even black) can make your eye color lighter. My eyes are usually dark brown but applying liners make make my eyes look lighter and brighter. Well that, and a lot of mascara.
If you have natural colored eyes like green, blue, or gray, avoid matching liners as your eye color, this will wash your eye color out. Instead, use contrasting colors to make them pop out!
Just line your lash lines with the colored liner and use the sponge tip applicator to smudge the edges to avoid the obviously drawn line look. I smudged a little eyeshadow over the liner the same color as the pencil to make it softer, and not to mention, make it last longer.
Skip the black eye liner to avoid looking too made up. You can apply your black liquid liner or pencil at night if you plan to go out after work.
I was really surprised that Nichido came up with a pencil that is full of color and that glides on easily like kohl. Local brands are starting to get competitive with their products so no need to spend thousands on makeup anymore.
The liner stayed on the whole day, fading a little bit after about 7 hours of wear. Just before going out to dinner, I just smudged the same shadow I used that morning to revive the liner and it worked. No need to re-apply your liner! And, it’s smudge proof too!
I have yet to try other brands that are budget friendly for you makeup addicts out there. I just have to find the good ones worth buying and using.
ELF’s colored pencil didn’t really impress me. The pencil is too hard to blend and it hurts my eyes when I apply it because you have to run the pencil over your lash line several times to get the maximum color effect that you want. Only advantage? Is that its cover comes with a pencil sharpener.
Nichido has more colors. I think they have green which can look absolutely divine with that pastel coral lipstick I’m sure you already have!
How To Wear Colored Eye Shadow In A Classy & Sophisticated Way!
In recent seasons, the use of colored eye shadow has once again become fashionable. More and more fashion giants have been using colorful shadows on the runway and print ads. Using colored shadows is a really a fun way to update your look when you get bored with your everyday makeup routine. This time around though, colored shadows are much more used in a subtle manner, Unlike in the 80's when shadows are applied from lash lines to the brow bones. To use colored eye shadow in a sophisticated manner you need to select flattering colors and apply them with care.
A splash of color can really bring out your eyes and can make or break your look, so randomly just picking any color that you like or have seen in the glossies isn't always the best tactic. You also don't want to choose shadows that matches the color of your outfit, but instead, choose colors that best complements them. If you are wearing green, purple tones help bring out your eyes. Brown and black outfits tend to look fabulous with green, or blue shades. Blues and purples can look good with pink or plum colors.
Application tips
When working with colors, it is best to start your make up with your eyes. This allows you to clean up any mistakes, or specks of dropped eye make up before applying foundation. One fail-safe trick is to apply a generous amount of loose powder under your eyes so that the powder can catch the colored eye makeup product. After you apply your eye makeup, you can just easily brush off the loose powder.
* When it comes to applying colored eye shadow you need to make sure you have the right tools at hand. You will need a good quality blending brush and lots of translucent powder.
* Don't try to apply your color all the way up your brow bone; it should be used as a highlight. You could try applying it as a V in the socket, or work it closely along the lashes.
* Remember that dark colors make areas of your eyes recede, whereas light colors bring them forward. So make sure you also consider how the use of color affects your eye shape. If you have small or deep set eyes, only use color in the outer thirds of your eyes, otherwise you are likely to make them look even less open. If however, your eyes are widely spaced or big, you might like to take the color right in to the inner corner.
* When using color, you need to make sure it is blended in really well with the base neutral that you have covered your lid with. You don't want the color to look chunky and stripe like. A blending brush will help take the hard edges away. You can also apply translucent powder over the top to graduate the color.
Finally, if you do decide to play your eyes up with color, make sure you keep your cheeks and lips fairly soft and neutral. Only one feature should be strongly highlighted.
GET THE LOOK:

Applying blue eye shadow is a little tricky. Too much can make it look like a black eye, and not enough can make you look ashy. When you buy blue eye shadow, choose one that looks bright in the pot but not neon.
Start by patting eye shadow on your lids from lash lines up to your crease and flipping a little bit at the outer corners to make your eyes look opened.
Blend the lines with a silver/white shadow to minimize the appearance of hard lines. Apply shadow also on your lower lash lines for more drama. You can skip this step if you will be wearing this during the day.
To wear gold eye shadow, pair it with another color that will compliment it like olive green. Gold eye shadow alone can make your skin look too yellow and sallow, and by pairing it with another color can compliment it even more.
Apply the gold shadow the same way, and line your lash lines (both upper and lower) with an olive green shadow with a flat liner brush. Blend and smudge the greens and create a smokey effect so that it will blend well with the gold.
Remember not to over do it. Less is always more, and a little color is just supposed to accent your look not to over power your whole entire outfit. You want to give focus on the eyes but not completely draw all the attention to them.
Most important tip is to just have fun and experiment! For beginners, try to avoid brands with too much color pigment. These tend to be harder to blend and erase when you make mistakes. Try basic beauty products like Maybelline, L'Oreal, or Fashion Serrano. Their shadows are very easy to blend and just gives a hint of color. You won't get intimidated specially when you're a newbie with wearing colored eyeshadow.

How To Add Contour To Eye Makeup
When putting on makeup, contouring is crucial to add depth and definition to avoid looking flat. Specially in photos. Makeup artists take lots of practice to master this technique to make contouring look as natural as possible. I will put some tips and tricks here for you to master these techniques as well so that you can apply them on yourself.
Apply a base eye shadow that you will apply on your entire eye lid. This shade should be a color slightly brighter than your natural skin tone so that if will give dimension to your eye lids when we're done. A cream base works best to make powder eyeshadow last. Try MAC's paint pots in painterly. Then apply a base shadow on top of the cream shadow like BONE or LIGHT GOLD.
Choose a contour color. The color that you should choose should look like a shadow (a natural shadow on places that light can't hit your face) and be a dark, contrasting color to the base. Popular colors include caramel taupe, dark brown or charcoal. Matte finish works best.
Lift the skin above the eye by gently lifting the brow with a finger on the opposite hand than the one you're using to apply the contour. Lifting the eye will open up the crease. Tilt your head back (as you would when applying mascara) to clearly see your crease.
Load the shadow brush with the contour color (and tap excess), sweep the contour in the crease of the eye starting from the outer corner of your eye, working your way in. When blending, fade the color as you move toward the eye. Use a light touch to gently sweep the shadow back and forth until the desired amount of color is achieved. When you release your lift of the eye, you should be able to see the color above the crease.
Blend the contour. Use a new brush or clean the brush. This will help remove excess product on your eye and will avoid adding more color on your lids. Lift up the eye again, and blend the contour shadow by sweeping the brush back and fourth until no harsh shadow lines are visible.
Contouring adds depth and character to any eye makeup. This will help open up your eyes specially when you top it with 2 coats of mascara on your curled lashes!

Would you pair dark lips with smokey eyes?
Dark eye shadow and bold lips are the biggest trends during fall and winter, but the classic repeated rule of makeup artists is to choose either a strong eye or strong lips but never, ever both at once.
But ever-fashionable actresses like Megan Fox, Diane Kruger and Christina Aguilera defied this beauty commandment by pairing a dark matte red lipstick with a dramatic smoky eye for the red carpet or a premiere and did they look pretty darn amazing!
But, like many of celebrities' looks, this look may be one better left to evenings out (when you're bold enough) or for photoshoots and runways.
If you have strong features, try going for a softer makeup look to soften your features. If you are bored with your look, you can always pull of this look for a night out. Just keep the smokey eyes muted a little bit and a lighter red. Try using lip gloss, matte lipsticks make a makeup look look very heavy.
After I applied Lancome's Contour Pro Lip Pencil on Margs' lips, I topped it off with Sephora's Lush Flush Wine Lip & Cheek Stain! Then topped it off with MAC's lip glass in clear. Experiment and mix colors until you find the shade that best suit your color tone!

Rachel and Barni: Smoky Eye for Day
Makeup for Rachel and Barni Alejandro was fairly easy. First of all, they are both very beautiful and secondly, they booth look good in almost any eye shadow shade! Hehehe...I dolled up the sisters with a different take on the traditional smokey eye. Still staying with dark neutrals for contouring and shading, I went for a light lid. I did this style to show other women that even during the day, one can pull of the smokey eye.
Keep the rest of your face simple and nude and remember to wear something light and colorful so that it won't make your makeup look too dramatic and heavy like you were going somewhere.
YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING:
Eyes: Light gold shimmer shadow, medium-beige shimmer eye shadow, something like Mac's Smut shimmer eye shadow (cool brown), light gold shadow for highlighting, black liquid liner, black pencil liner, very black mascara.
Cheeks: A soft-peach pink blush
Lips: Coral-pink lipstick plus your favorite gloss
Directions:
1. After applying and setting your base, define your brows using a coordinating powder shadow or any other eyebrow product with a flat brow brush.
2. On the inner lid, apply your beige shimmer shadow and blend to cover the entire lid. Apply your cool brown shadow lightly in the outer crease, and darken the crease using a darker shade of brown by sweeping them starting from the outer corner blending your way in. Highlight your brow bone with the light gold shimmer shadow. On the lower lash-line, sweep some product from the outer corner of your eye. Make sure to blend well!
3. With your black pencil liner, line your eyes. The thickness and intensity is completely up to you. For the brave ones, line the inner rims of your eyes for a more fierce look. Then, line your upper lid with the liquid liner.
4. Curl and apply your mascara. I usually coat lashes with 2 coats, but you can go up to 3!
5. Sweep the apples of your cheeks with your peach-pink blush with an angled brush blush.
6. Top the look with your gloss, using your lipstick first as the base!
