Cookie Somera Trial Hair and Makeup

The first time Cookie and I spoke was on the phone when she was booking me for her wedding. This was a year ago... Now, it's less than 2 months before her wedding!

As soon as I saw her, I knew that going for the more dramatic eye makeup look was perfect since she had beautiful deep-set eyes.

Bronzed airbrushed cheeks and a pale lip color would bring out her beautiful warm skin and would give her that bridal glow.

Kamille Gaspar Trial Hair and Makeup

Only 1 week to go before Kamille's big day! My bride from Australia had her trial session today with me and Tony. They were having their prenup pictorial today and Tony and I agreed that this was the perfect look for her.

Kamille is very kalog so a more casual and yet sweet was the way to go.

I airbrushed her makeup, contour and cheeks and did everything else by hand, which is still the best for precision. LOVELY!

I just love iridescent powders!

You gotta ♥ SUESH!

I was at the SUESH Showroom last Saturday and conducted the first basic airbrush makeup seminar. It was my first time at Sheryll's showroom and I just fell in love with her cute store! It's a makeup artist's heaven! You can't leave empty handed!

Sheryll and I go way back. When she was starting her biz, she gave me a stippling brush to try and also my first set of 24pc. brush set... I fell in love with them instantly. Now, I don't use any other brush! Well, except for the other brushes that other brands gave me, like Shu Uemura and a few Lancome brushes, but majority of brushes in my artist's belt are SUESH.

Anyhoo... After the seminar, Sheryll wouldn't let me leave empty handed and gave me 3 AMAZING products from her store :

This brush holder is heaven sent! I just love that it's made out of leather so it's very easy to clean. The case opens up in the middle so short handled brushes won't drown in the case when you need them! PhP 400.00

These q-tips are very useful specially when correcting makeup in the corners of the eyes. They are also handy when applying false lashes! You can easily reach the band to attach them on your lashlines. Oh! And perfect for smudging liners as well!

PhP 60.00/can PhP 150.00/3 cans

This beautiful nylon bag is great for those little makeup nick-nacks that you may have like eyeliner pencils, lip liners, lashes, etc. It comes with a strap as well for easy touch-ups! I just love it!! PhP 1,400.00

Thank you so much Sheryll! Will visit your showroom again soon! Can't wait for our next workshop!

For those of you makeup lovers out there who haven't been to SUESH, please visit Sheryll's Showroom at #34 Wilson Street, Greenhills, San Juan! Definitely worth the trip! www.suesh.com

Lizette Bautista Trial Hair and Makeup

My pretty bride Lizette. Isn't she sweet? She was so easy to work with, I love that she trusted me and Tony with the hair and makeup.

Airbrush makeup emphasized her beautiful skin. I used 2 layers only on airbrush and the finish was enough to cover any redness on her face. I wanted her skin to still be shown so 2 layers was more than enough :)

This is the hair that Tony did:

Leah Macaraig Trial Hair and Makeup

This was the first time Leah and I met and we got along instantly!

She has gorgeous skin so she didn't need a whole lot of makeup on her face. I just gave her a glow for her prenup pictorial that day so she wouldn't look too made up.

Kate Torralba

Sis and I haven't seen each other for a while so imagine our fun when we got together to do her makeup for the CATS premier...

Anyhoo, she was wearing a gown that had lots of details and a printed one, so we went for a very clean and fresh look. Don't you just love her skin? :)
