Show Me Some Skin!
One A-list Hollywood celeb whose makeup I have always adored is Angelina Jolie. Her makeup is simple and timeless.
One A-list Hollywood celeb whose makeup I have always adored is Angelina Jolie. Her makeup is simple and timeless.

She shows a lot of glowing skin, hardly any blush or exaggerated contours. Just her classic cat-eye look applied with a single stroke of black eyeliner to emphasize her gorgeous eyes, and sheer nude gloss to emphasize those trademark lips of hers. Sometimes when we’re lucky, we get to see her with a bit of red lips too. It’s not even applied heavily, more like a tint of color dabbed on the lips with fingertips.
Almost-bare skin is in, and ultra matte cake foundation is out. Show some skin and get your glow on!
1. Mix a light moisturizer and liquid foundation and apply only on places you need it (cheeks, forehead, chin, and nose). Try: Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation SPF 15 PA+
2. Heat concealer on your fingers to make it easier to blend. Pat, do not rub! Set everything lightly with a translucent powder. Try: Laura Mercier Undercover Pot
3. Swirl a light shimmer blush on your cheekbones with a kabuki brush to avoid streaks.Try: NARS Blush in Madly
4. Line your upper lash lines with a liquid liner. Curl your lashes and apply 2 coats of mascara. TRY: Revlon’s Grow Lash Mascara
5. Use a lipstick that looks like a tint. Use lipgloss to give the illusion of pouty lips. TRY: Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Lip Duo in Perfect Peach

How much is my face worth?
I saw Miss Sultana's blog post about how this thing is going around with other bloggers. I enjoyed reading hers so much that I decided to do this for you guys!
I go to meetings a lot so I have to wear makeup everyday. And in the afternoons and the evenings, I attend events or some nights meet up with some friends for dinner and drinks. So makeup is a must for someone like me who makes a living out of makeup.
Ok, here goes:
M&Co. Cosmetics... Where have I been?
Being a Makati girl has some advantages and some disadvantages. One of the disadvantages is not having to discover M&Co. Cosmetics sooner. These babies are only sold in Megamall, Alabang, and in Pasong Tamo I think? Anyway, moving on.
I was in SM Megamall yesterday, I was in the cosmetics department buying loofa when I came across the counter of M&Co. Honestly? If I didn't see Mikee Cojuangco's signature plastered all over their neon sign, I wouldn't have known that it was a local brand.
The packaging is just AAAHHH-mazing. I love that their colors are copper and silver. The packaging of the product itself is a beautiful puter color.
All of their products come with those little velvet/velour pouches that is just ADORBS! I mean, how cute is that? It's really first class packaging! And some of you may already know, I am a sucker for cute and classy packging! (Eyeshadow Quad in Orange Burst P290.00)
This is the most neutral palette/nude palette from their collection. I just fell in love with it, so it was the first one to go in my basket! (Eyeshadow Quad in Bronze Ambition P290.00)
This blush is a nice orange-pink color. It's more on the orange though. I got it to try because the color complemented the eye palettes I got! (Charming Blush in Sweet Rust P275.00)
Their waterproof liner has a very stiff end which is perfect for beginners in using liquid liners. Its stiff tip makes it wasier to control! Long lasting too! (Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner in Black P160.00)
In all fairness, their mascara is good. It's no Maybelline, but at least it does its job to keep the lashes curled and elongated. The consistency is not sticky so another plus for me. (Waterproof Mascara in Black P195.00)
I know these glossed look the same, but one is actually pigmented which can be used alone, and the other one is just tinted which you can use on top of your favorite day time lippie! It's not sticky, and the shine lasts a long time. (Lip Gloss in Rosa Love and Bougainvillea P135.00/each)
The packaging of the lipstick is the first one I have seen. It's sort of mechanical. You have to press it to close it, and press the bottom part again to release the lipstick from the tube! It's just cute! Staying power is great! I tried on the red lipstick in-store and when I got home after dinner (about 3 hours later), my lipstick was still there! (Long Lasting Matte Lipstick in Love and Biscuit P190.00/each)
I will definitely go back to get some more products from this brand! Stay tuned for the tutorial video coming up soon!
I just used one of the palettes for a day makeup then night makeup just so I can test the products. Will probably include on of the eyeshadow palettes in a giveaway. But anyway, here's the night look:
I'm really having a blast with the Photobooth! LOL! Will post the tutorial on YouTube soon!
