Having the strong black liner as part of your daily makeup routine can make the once exciting look to turn old and boring.

Twist the typical eyeliner with these great new techniques.

1.) The Feline Flick

Fan of the cat eyes? On top of a neutral colored eye shadow, thicken your usual line while drawing a smooth swoosh on top of the lash line for that fierce feline appeal.

Try using Revlon Colorstay 16-hr quad eyeshadow (P550) in "Moonlit" and Maybelline's Hypersharp Mascara (P399).


















2.) The Avant Garde Sweep

Work this runway favorite on the real way! Create a bottom eyeliner and extend it just a bit further than the top to show a newer (and wilder) dimension. Make sure both lines are kept thin to avoid looking overdone.

Try using MAC Shade & Smoke Shadow/Liner in "Beth Mask" (P1000) and MaxFactor LiquidEffect Pencil (P475).

















3.) Captivating Color

Try a different color of eyeliner for a change. Thicken the line depending on the event or mood. A thick 60's flick would be perfect for the Halloween season, don't you think?

Try using Revlon Colorstay Creme Gel in "Plum" (P795).
